Memories and emotions,
cooked in your home

My Story

Who am I?

Diana Sanchez

I was born in Toledo, but life soon took me to the Pyrenees, where I became a cook and a wife.

I carry in my blood the Castilian strength and the calm of the mountains, and from this balance is born my way of understanding cooking: with love, with respect and with truth.

Since I was little, I grew up surrounded by smells and stories. From my grandfather Benjamín I learned that, even with tired eyes, you can cook with soul; that time and patience are the best ingredients.

From my grandmother Lala I remember afternoons of toast with sugar, open doors and the aroma of stews that filled the entire building. She taught me that cooking is about sharing.

From my great-grandmother, from a small town in Cáceres, I keep the memory of hanging sausages and olives in clay jars. From her I learned that a simple dish can be a treasure.

In Galicia I discovered the sea and the silence of dishes that are made without haste: the value of the product, respect for the land and the beauty of cooking to care.

And in the Pyrenees, thanks to my mother-in-law Adela, I learned to recognize plants, to preserve food, to listen to the cycle of the seasons. With her, I understood that cooking can also heal and transmit.

Each person and each place has left an ingredient inside me.

When I cook, they are all there: Toledo, Galicia, Cáceres, the Pyrenees... and all the hands that one day taught me that a good meal is a symbol of care and love for people.

That's why, when I cook for someone, I don't just prepare a dish. I prepare memories, emotions and fragments of life.

My kitchen is a reflection of who I am: a woman who loves the land, memory and people.
